Trust formation and administration


Fairway Trust Limited acts as professional trustee to international private and corporate clients. We will arrange the Formation of a suitable trust and then administer the trust affairs as professional corporate trustee.

The original Settlement deeds are prepared by our own legal advisors to ensure that best industry practice is followed in the light of recent legislation at the time of creation.

We can create Jersey, Guernsey or other jurisdiction trusts in accordance with client requirments.

Usually trusts are of a standard discretionary nature for the benefit of individuals, typically family members. We do however facilitate more specialised client trust arrangements. These include:-

Purpose Trusts. A purpose trust will be created for specific reasons and is therefore a different entity from a trust prepared for the benefit of individuals. They are usually utilised for commercial activities.

Fixed interest Trusts. Here an individual might be entitled to income only and the trustees discretionary powers will need to be limited. Different individuals might be entitled to capital.

Trusts are private arrangements between the Trustee and the beneficiaries. Confidentiality is always a paramount consideration.
