James qualified with the UK firm BDO Stoy Hayward in 1998 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
James originally moved offshore to the British Virgin Islands in 1999 where he specialised in the audit of funds and held the position of financial controller for Equity Trust (BVI) Limited.
Since he arrived in Jersey James has been focussed on the financial reporting side of hedge fund administration and the calculation of daily estimates and month-end NAVs. Now at Fairway Trust he joined in the position of Senior Manager and has been involved in the preparation of financial statements for special purpose vehicles, funds and local businesses.
James was appointed a director of the company in November 2008.
James is the Treasurer of the United Club in Jersey and a star on the 5-a-side football pitch.
